Dear Victory,

OK, WhyChat has written with greater clarity than can I on this issue and in recent postings. Here is what's happening. Anyone sued now is asked to give their name, address, AND SS#. Seems redundant in that the CA and OC weevils long have had this on file. But they need to get it from you to satisfy the new lien/judgement law. Judgements before, I believe 2001 must be updated with the SS# info, and all new judgements or collection actions must have this info prior to, I believe, October of 2003 or the judgement is invalid.
The info is placed upon file with the FL Secretary of State's office. Purpose ostensibly is to 'streamline' and 'fix' the Lien and execution procedures. Doubtless in favor of the cloven-hoof bankers and their lickspittle CA's.
How nice. Well on our way to becoming a true kleptocracy. Or was it Kakistocracy. Hope this helps.
Basic procedure in a suit is when axed for your SS#, usually in Discovery Interrogatories, you simply object. Let them push the issue. Hope this has proven to be of some help.
Ain't it funny how this little innovation from our lawmakers received so little press? tee hee.

Laughingly,

Keyser
