I'm trying to help someone on another site. She has a $8K chargeoff from MBNA and she says she's paid off and on for the past 4 years. She lives in Louisiana that has a 3 year SOL. A collection agency is leaning on her. I've looked at the La. stsutues on your site and I can't tell if any sort of repayment after chargeoff would have restarted any clocks. I've asked the last time she made a payment to MBNA that didn't have late fees. Hopefully, she'll respond soon. Really feel sorry for her. She posted on the worse possible site {MSN} for this problem and really has been beaten up pretty bad. Single Mom and in the military,etc.
