I'm having the same trouble with these people. I apparently have an outstanding check that was written in 1998. They have never responded to my calls or letters, even certified letters asking for a bill in writing. My $56.00 check has now turned into a $190.00 debt that they will not prove to me in writing. They have completely stopped me from being able to write checks almost everywhere, and they are extremely rude when I even try to contact them by phone. (call me stupid, ignorant, etc. and hang up on me.) the woman handling my case is Jessica Levine and she's nasty. I have also asked to speak to her supervisor and they ALWAYS connect me right back to her. Has anyone had any luck trying to resolve things with them?? We are on the verge of hiring an attorney to fix this but would like any last resort ideas...
