I am having the same problem as the previous respondents to this board. I got a letter from a Robert Glass who is threatening to recommend criminal action if I don't pay the full restitution of $320.84. He told me that today was my last chance to pay the full amount to 'probably avoid criminal charges'
I did some digging and found out the check was actually for $190.84 and written back in June, 2000. When I called him back to inquire about the discrepancy, he said he would not entertain any disputes and hung up on me.
The question I have for anyone who know the statute of limitations for criminal charges on fraudulent checks. Has NCC actually filed criminal charges with anyone or are they a scam organization that uses this info to extort money from people.
