I agree completely on doing banking through local banks, sometimes though past situations warranted use of other means of credit, in which case I eliminated or in the process of eliminating.

I was a bit skeptical, hence my post for advice. The pushy atttitude that this lady displayed also was a turnoff for me, but I agreed to have her call back Wed. evening, when I will inform her of my decision to not go with the option she gave me. I feel that in 3-4 years I will be able to have the majority of my unsecured debt eliminated or transferred to lower interest accounts.
