Geez, I hope so...

Who's to say I never received notice? I can see the other side now..."Your Honor, we sent letters, published it in the paper...etc" How the hell am I supposed to get notice when I live 2000 miles away, lol? Repo was in 99...I moved exactly 2 years later to a differnet state.

I know I havent been sued yet, but I feel like it's coming, expecially after what the OC said about it having gone to collections.

See, I disputed with cra's it as not mine because I thought I was past 2 year sol. It was deleted, but last week, it reappeared, saying that it was mine. TU said they verified...and updated charge off date to 02/03 (repo'd in 99)

Stupid me, contacted the OC to find out what was going on and let her know the acct was inc in bk. She didnt know that my ex filed bk in 2000. I didnt mention that it was JUST his bk (we were still married in community property state when he filed-I didnt file) Anyhow, she said they never got the bk paperwork and the account was in collections, etc. and mentioned that in California, they could collect for 7 years. She said it may be different in My state (assuming she meant Washington, where the repo took place)but that because they were in CA, they had their own laws. I know a majority of what she said is bs, but she sure did seem confident she was right. (a total ploy, I know) Still, it's got me pretty stressed. I think I may have sca-rewed myself.

I know this sounds confusing, but I'm trying to figure this one out...is the friggin sol out? And, by LEGAL repo, that includes, according to WA law, notice prior and after the sale, right?

Sorry to keep pickin',
nikki

:)
