The collection agency woman LIED, (BIG SURPRISE!!).

The original contract was voided by the repo,even IF somehow the laws of Ca. applied -they have some of the STRONGEST repo laws in the Country.

Send them the SOL letter from my website. Use the following phrase for the legal statutes:

Under the Motor Vehicle Finance Act Laws,UCC § 9 ,and RISA Statutes of my State of Texas and the State of Washington, your collection activities on this alleged account are prohibited as being time-barred.

In addition any claim of a deficiency on this account is invalid as the repossession of the subject vehicle did not conform to Washington State laws."

Make SURE you put in the part about reporting and legal action and reporting to the Bar Association
