Ok.. question .. and I'm not questioning your profession.. just a clarification.

IF a state's statutes do not explicitly define a credit card as an 'open-ended account', would not the definition in the Federal TILA hold sway ?

I'm just following this with interest as I too have seen many posts, here and on other boards, where people have used the 4 year SOL as a defense against a suit in OH and they have won their cases, much to the chagrin of the plaintiff attorneys. I don't know that any of these judges were 'country bumpkins' or not, but the defendents won their cases all the same.
