I have a paid 1998 collection listed on my Experian report from Recovery Solution Specialists for a medical bill from Cedars Sinai (I did pay directly to Cedars even though Cedars could not even find me in their system). RSS has not been able to provide me with a copy of the bill. My insurance representative even spoke with them and they could not provide her with appropriate billing information. I have a letter from my insurance stating that she contacted them and they did not provide the information she needed for processing a claim. How should I proceed? I want to get this removed from my credit report. The collection agency is in CA and I am in Ohio. Do I have basis for a lawsuit?
