No argument there on either point. Both are specifically covered in the FDCPA :) For the poster's edification; Contact after a CA has received a C&D letter (which is why we send them all CRRR) is illegal under the Act. Threatening to sue when they legally CANNOT do so, as in the case of an expired SOL debt, is prohibited under the Act as well.
