I am still confused. Everywhere I read in the UCC, for the state I live (TX) and the state in which a vehicle was repo'd (WA), it says in Article 2 for sales that there is a 4 year sol to file against a contract, however article 9 deals with secured transactions-but there's nothing stating sol for deficiency as being 2 years. I have tried the search feature, etc. Whychat says that they have 4 years to file from the date of re-sale (if it was done legally)and 2 years to notify you of the deficiency. Then I read that sol for deficiency is 2 years at best. I am still unclear. All I know is that I didnt receive anything after repo...no notice of sale or deficiency. Had a repo in May 0f 99. I know I keep asking the same questions over and over again, but I cant find anywhere in writing where it says two year sol. Thanks guys...for putting up with stupid questions. Nik
