Great Board!
I've been receiving phone calls from these "people" regarding a cc debt with date of last activity as June of 1991. (I got this from an old Credit Report).
I live in Georgia and the card was issued in Georgia as well.
I'm getting ready to send WhyChat's SOL letter but have a question about C&D.
Should I just add a line on my own?
I've written:
"Please also be advised that you are to cease and desist any and all collection activities, including by phone or by mail"
Will this do or do I need a separate C&D letter attached?
And where do I find one? I've tried looking through WhyChat's web siter, but I'm having trouble.
