I personally, prefer not to use FDCPA citations in the letters, not because they are not valid, but because I think the CA's pay no attention to Federal enforcement of any laws.

I think they figure their bribes and payoffs (known as campaign contributions) have given them immunity.

This is why I prefer to refer to State laws on fraudulent extortion or harrassment.

However, the added cease and desist may certainly give help to the SOL letter,especially one worded as well as your example.
