I have a question about these people I called equifax today to get a 50.00 check straightened out from the year of 2000 they inturn gave me the number for National Check Control in NJ who Omar Brook (the man I spoke with) was not a nice man at all. He told me the check had to be taken care of today or I would go to jail, pretty much everything I have read here. Equifax warned me about these people and now I am just wondering how I can pay my 50.00 check without paying the 155.97 that they want. The check was written to Best Buy in Texas what can I do?
