Tonite I spoke to the rep who called me and basically said I was not going to go with her. She could not understand why not, basically playing the good guy. However, I am under the impression she pulled my credit reports, as she was very knowledgeable about my background. She actually stated that my credit card balances went up $200, which I know is not true since I recently paid large amounts on each one with my income tax return. This disturbs me as I seem to gather from reading posts here that this is illegal for people to do (unauthorized viewing?). I would like to know if there is any course of action I can take if this is illegal for them. I did NOT authorize any company to review my credit history.
