Don't know what state you live in. But in florida it is legal to record someone's phone call or voice if you inform them. We have our clients put a message on their answering machine that says " Thank you for calling, your call is important and your call is being recorded". You will always hear a "click" because they DO NOT WANT THEIR VOICE recorded. It's that simple. Doesn't your local phone company or utility company tell you that your call is being recorded for "quality control or training purposes"? Good luck and get some sleep.
