Thank you LadynRed for your help. No signature on the contract they sent me, but the contract does have a clause in it pertaining to the fact that no signature is needed, as using the charge and opening an account with them binds you to the contract. They've covered the *** in all ways, looks to me. I would like a complete accounting of how they came to that figure. Do I write a letter to the Collection agency and request that. They said in their letter that they have requested further info from CCB and will let me know when they get it. I don't know if that will really happen or not. Do I just sit and wait for them to contact me again or do I write and request full accounting of final figure, or do I call and proceed with settlement. And thanks for the info on garnishment and my job. Didn't send 12 copies of contract, the contract was 12 pages long!!
