Please understand that this BBS gets a lot of posts, including its share of spam and trolls. The moderator has plenty of other duties besides checking the BBS, so sometimes decisions are made quickly, and with the main goal of just keeping an orderly, legal, non-spam/troll environment.

Often what happens is that the *entire* thread gets deleted, to cut short any trolling, pointless arguments, etc. I'm not sure, but the deleted thread that you mention was apparantly started as spam.

If you would like to start up a new thread discussing the important issue of arbitration (e.g. credit card issuers placing such conditions in their cardholder agreements), go right ahead. If you wish, you can include the names of specific companies, and your experiences with them.
