Seems you have good fodder to file complaints with FTC, your state AG, and the bar association.
Is this small claims or civil court? If civil you can file an answer claiming 'lacking in knowledge' to each and every one of their allegations. Many times this gives them pause to move along to next target.
Dispute the debt immediately, demand validation. Each new tactic described on this board as regards these barking chamber pots represents a new and previously considered low in sub-human deviant behavior.
Each word they tell you is a lie, actionable, and perhaps worst of all in terms of environment, a total waste of oxygen.
