I know my story is ridiculously entangled, but is there some relief for my situation...anything that anyone knows of? I have read from the "Maryland Repo" posts that my account appears to have been charged off because of a zero balance. But I know of no deficiency. I'm in NC, and my Date of Last activity is 05/99. I didn't get any repo paperwork, and I didn't get any re-sale paperwork. This zit on my report has injured me badly...causing me to have to leverage everything in cash. It's made single parenting a bit more interesting. I'm not worried about a judgement. Like "Maryland Repo", I think they too are content to see me injured with the negative entry. They have been successful. Help if you can?
