With regards to my prior post, the SOL start date on installment contracts is pretty much standard law in all states.

The 4 year UCC SOL applies in MOST, BUT NOT ALL states with regards to breach of a financing agreement pursuant to the sale of goods. (MD for instance, is one). This also applies to a deficiency suit, in the manner as I set out in the previous post. Different states have approached it differently, but generally, the 4 year SOL would apply. NC is the leading minority state on this issue.

Other than that, everything in my previous post pretty much applies in all states.
