Right, they have a power thing about telephones. Rufus "Bud" "The Dean of Bad Debt" Reitzel, the founder of this wonderful 'service' company gushed glowingly on his website a while back about the new databases and their benefit to his 'business'. They seem to enjoy printing unlisted telephone numbers on court papers perhaps in hope you'll be afraid, as opposed to realizing what a bunch of skinless party franks these creeps are. They'll include little comments next to the number stating that you perhaps threatened the AAC 'collections professional' with bodily harm, or that you admitted to not only owing the national debt of Bolivia but as well you claimed responsibility for starting the Troubles over in Ireland. All meaningless when it gets before a judge. If this sewage froth is still calling you, please do kindly send them the cease & desist letter, samples on this site. As well, if you've not already so done, a nice validation note is appropriate. Is this debt SOL? This is one of their other famous tricks, filing time barred actions on uncollectable debts. It doesn't even make them unique as many other cat-cookie collectors are pulling the same stunt. If they sue, sometimes answering the suit by pleading ignorance to each count serves to let even these cruel dullards know that you are far more trouble than you owe. And really, it's good to make as much trouble for these stinkweeds as you can. FTC complaints should be the order of the day, every day. Write them up, copies to your state attorney GEneral. Send copies to the Michigan attorney general. Michigan is where AssXXXX Acceptance Corporation is headquartered. Tell your physicians of any and all physical, emotional, somatic, and other symptoms of your distress. After all, how can this not upset you? Rufus Reitzel states on his website, which makes for chilling between the lines reading, that he finds the collections business to be 'fascinating." We share his observations. Let's make his curious business pursuits even yet more 'fascinating' for him by writing him up often. So many plop-flies, let's get busy with those swatters. Swattingly, Keyser Soze "Flies, not matter how agile, are driven by greed. sooner or later, their greed supersedes their better judgement. This should be the point at which one's Louisville slugger smacks that yellowish viscous stuffing right outa them. This substance, when collected in quantity and allowed to putrify, comprises the essence of the 'collections professional'. - anon.
