Setting them up?

Ahh, that old chestnut. Right, you bet we are setting up the scumbag CA's and anyone else involved in this predatory 'industry'.
I think the correct term is 'fact gathering'.
One cannot set up the innocent. Remember that CA sophists. You're confusing entrapment with setting up.
Entrapment falls apart in court. Now there's a term that you in the credit industry might not know, but surely you practice it. Encouraging six year olds to take out rat-scabies-abusement-park credit cards. Fooling people into signing away all their rights, protections, and wealth with your sneaky double-blind contracts. Yeah, you know, entrapment. Like when the CA 'management professional' is discovered by the cops, holed up in some fleabag motel 4.2 suite with a litre of Ketamine and two Great Danes. No, that's not even entrapment, just the logical consequences of your actions.
What you call setting up is merely the ordinary. Gathering facts, sifting the data, checking for consistency. Trading obervations, developing hypotheses, all ultimately aimed at bequeathing unto 'collections professionals' a permanent furlough for job retraining. The job being reduction of large rocks into gravel. Venue preferably Ft. Leavenworth, where your mohhhmmmee is so fondly remembered.

Fondly,

Keyser 'Set-up Calypso' Soze
