As one who was in the same situation, I filed BK7 in Jan 2003 and I can tell you that it is like a 2000 pound weight lifted off your shoulders. I too lost supplemental income and have a 100% disabled wife to take care of. I found an attorney in my area that would take his portion of the fees in payments. I had to pay up front the filing fees. Take care of your family first. You can not do so with all the financial pressure that you have.
