LadynRed,

I am actually planning on faxing a copy of my payment receipts to the bank. I only called him in hopes that he would at least note the account. One of the payments was via a personal check to which I have a copy of the front. I am just waiting on the cancelled check to come back so that it will be my proof.
I have not heard from the people since, but I cant trust folks. I did request a letter stating that my account was current but have not gotten it back yet. I will call the person handling my account later on today again to request the letter. I will also be sending my request letter via certified mail to him and address it to him only indicated that the payments were made.
As I have noticed in previous posts from you, you are a diamond in the rough.
One question though, was the "default" letter a scare tactic? Is this guy at liberty to call off the hounds? I know that my car won't truly be "safe" until paid off, but, I just need to know that they are not still looking for it.

Thanks again. Individuals such as yourself are rare and that is what these collection agencies depend on.
