No, Art. 2 is not for "just" merchant to merchant. It most definitely applies to merchant to consumer. The MD case is Scott v. Ford Motor Credit. If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed, you can read it here: http://www.courts.state.md.us/opinions/coa/1997/145a95.pdf Its a very good explanation of the issue, why the court found that it did, and a look at how the other courts, including the NC court, reached their decisions.
