The dealership falls under ucc...BUT would the lender? After all, the lender is who would be suing...they technically arent constituted as the "seller" even though their services were provided through the seller.

I am wondering if there is a different in the law distinguishing between a bank/finance company that is only used because the seller provided their services (like going through the chevy dealer and getting financing through Americredit or some third party) rather than the buyer providing their own financing by bringing a credit union check.

I found WA state law that says what you said...that private purchase with thrird party financing doesnt qualify as UCC.

Just looking for something that says dealerships who find outside financing do fall under ucc.

Great stuff! But hard to find exactly what Im looking for, lol. Thanks!

Nikki
