They must include a valid address and a contact number, but it doesn't have to be toll-free, a local number is fine. As long as its not a LONG DISTANCE number and would force you to incur charges for THEIR collection activity, its not a violation. Did they include the mini-miranda and the 30-day right to dispute phrases ? If either is left off, it IS a violation. If they put in the 30-day right to dispute AND they demand immediate payment, that is ALSO a violation (and I have case law to support that !!).
