This is contrary to what many of us understand. My state [ MA ] specifically requires a new written contract to change the cause-of-action date to reset the SOL. MA is pretty pro-consumer, but I have assummed other states had similar provisions. Could you give us some examples of states that allow a partial payment to restart the SOL clock?
