I have a good one. I received a call on my job from an auditing firm for Chicago Health Clubs. They told me that they were authorized to settle an account that I supposedly had in 1992. I was informed by them that no payment had been received since 1994 and that they want to settle. I told them that I had no knowledge of such account and to send me a copy of the contract that I alledgely signed. They told me that it would take time to get the contract and I told them i am not sending any money on an 11 year old debt that i know nothing about. I live in Illinois. I believe that the SOL has run on this account. This is the first that I have heard from this company and this debt is not on any of my credit reports. I pulled all 3 credit reports 3 weeks ago prior to receiving this call.
