If there's one observation this unworthy scribe could offer it is of a non-legal nature to do with underlying philosophy. The "burden of Leadership" nostrum seems to apply more and more with consumer rights.
This was well explained in the fine cold war film Mulholland Falls by the character of General Thomas Timms. Simply put, undercover cops can indulge in the enjoyment of illicit narcotics. The wealthy and well connected can get away with the murder for which an innocent man will surely swing. Bankers can influence courts and legislatures into massaging the statutes in their direction.
This is the burden of leadership. After all, for a debtor to perish is of no signifigance. For some pilonidal cyst CA to be fined and smashed out of business simply won't do. "Jobs" lost, the thugs who otherwise are off the street working the phones will be turned loose to commit all manner of mayhem. The banks will 'lose' money which they've long written off.
The 'greater good' concept of ten dead so that a hundred survive applies here and with vigor. Understandable as money trumps human life every time.
May our Creator always be with you, appreciate your kind effort to inform and indeed all the generous sharing of hard-won knowledge from many fine friends on this board.
