A quick PS -

Basic stuff, don't even talk to these lousy commie rats when they call. Let the C & D letter speak for you. Sometimes, even within SOL, the validation letter puts them off, by its nature it demonstrates that you are not to be trifled with. If they fail to validate within the thirty days, then they must cease collection activity until they do. And if they validate beyond the thirty days, that's a violation also as they are supposed to do it within thirty days, period.
Some scumbags in the CA 'industry' will wait an indecent interval and then sue, in hope you've forgotten the Validation & Dispute letter you sent them, certified return receipt, of course.
You won't forget, and they will get their little piggy snouts caught in a big fat wringer washer.

Washing you the best,

Keyser Soze
