You should try to slow down and read ALL the posts in a thread. The Mi law states that any collection agency OUTSIDE Mi. is not allowed to have any collection activities IN Mi IF their CLIENT (OC on an ASSIGNED account) has it's BASE (Corp. Hq.) IN Mi.

Nothing to do with a CA being able to sue if they OWN the account and are outside Mi.
