You should try to bring a Motion to Strike Complaint based on SOL. Best Buy is a credit card or commonly known as "Open" account. My husband was sued and we bring up a Motion to Strike on that basis and today we got a phone call from the attorney and requesting us to dismiss our motion and in exchange they will dismiss the entire case. So it doesn't hurt to file a motion. You have a chance of winning it. Specially if the SOL ran out.
