You have to threaten the CBRs with legal action if you want to get anything done. State in future letters that you are familiar with the laws that govern their operations, and that reporting information which is incorrect is punishable under the FCRA. Let them know you will not hesitate to excercise your rights.
Also, if you validate, they will probably just come back with a canned "validated" reply. Send them a demand for their discovery method and proof - they must provide it.
