I received a summons to appear in court today for a judgement they are trying to obtain against me. It was a Discover card and they say I owe them $3800 even though my credit limit was only $1800 ($2000 in fees, etc.) I was paying them through a consolidated debt service and I just gave up. I was so frustrated, nothing was going down. I am in no position to pay Discover now. Can they garnish my wages or freeze my accounts, does anyone have any advice about what to do?
