oh you're right.. I wouldn't pay them if they are charged off. I just wasn't reading right. I would wait it out and if they sue try to get pre-trial settlement terms and if that doesn't work and they get a judgement then you can always file BK and get rid of the judgements if you have to.
I am no expert at all though. A beginner at best. But I have been reading and asking questions trying to figure out what to do with my problems and thats how I figured this stuff out. Thats why I reply with what I would do and not with any facts or anything because I most likely am missing something. I just like it when people reply to me and tell me what they would do. gives me more ideas.
