Do NOT "settle" for anything.
When was your last payment DIRECTLY to Discover on a regular monthly statement WITHOUT any late charges or past due amounts.

Look up your Experian report, look to see when the "removal date" is for Discover, NOT any CA.

I will BET you are past the 4 year SOL.The payments you made through Genesis or anything else DO NOT COUNT when figuring if you are past the SOL.
