where does BK file at? city or county

When you go to file for BK does it happen in th ecounty or the city you live in or does it matter? I live in a small city outside of a large city. So do I file in my city or can I file in the big city where I work and there are more lawyers. are there benifits to either? Also does it matter where the lawyer is? should he be located in the smaller city is I have to file in the smaller city?
