This is a favorite parlor trick of late on part of the HMO 'medical providers". You assume your medical expenses are covered, paid for. Then commence calls from the nice CA 'collections professionals'. Yes, the insurer has been billed, in fact may have already paid. You may already have paid your share of the charges. But these lice try to stir you up emotionally in hope you will kindly suspend rational thought and pay them yet again.
When you realize your error, you have to fight to get your money back. And these bugs have a funny way of fighting with both hands tied behind the back, so long as the back belongs to the customer.
Aren't they all so clever?
