As for the "observer" that posted.....I am not short-sighted. I am just in over my head and had to choose SOMETHING to not pay, and the credit cards are it. I didn't just stop paying them because I felt like it and hoped to get out of the debt. I stopped paying them because I couldn't meet their demands. When they wouldn't come down on the payments through CCCS, I didn't think they would come down now if I asked them, do you?

I was just wondering what to do. Do any of you think they would agree to something like $15/month with a lowered interest rate, and STOP COMPLETELY the late and over-the-limit fees? If not, then there's nothing I can do.

By the way....my credit is in the crapper (score of 490), so these credit cards not being paid don't bother me in the least compared the mold-ridden home I unknowingly bought last year that completely and totally financially ruined me. With attorney fees mounting, something had to not get paid. Now my credit score has gone from 690 to 490 in one year's time. My credit cards were current until all the trouble with the house.
