Keyser's colorful prose is slighly inaccurate,it is STATE law , not Federal that determines when an account defaults. Most States.like Mich. start at first delnquency before charge-off from the orignal creditor, but some States start the last time you made a charge or paid the original creditor. As to any $$ or even ¢¢¢ these crooks get- going to BIGGER crooks and off shore accounts, that part is fairly true, however it is only a small part of the REAL nasty business of where the $$ go -and what they buy.
