Totally lost, thought i knew but not anymore, whychat, lady, keyser

I have been reading the board for the last 3 1/2 months, every item, have been to whychats site.. and read there also. I live in florida, thought i had a handle on things, but now I don't think I know a thing.I am about 50 K in cc debt, all have gone to charge off last month.Health issues have forced me to choose what to pay and what not, needless to say the cc didn't get paid. I have no doubt that suit will be brought, the cc are MBNA,Discover,Visa, Am. Exp. and 2 small ones, chase and 1st card. the above 4 are over 7500 each, or better. I have received letters telling me that two of these have been sold by oc to sherman, and i've been reading about them on the site. QUESTIONS; I thought the idea was to hope the sol would run out on these accounts, I couldn't negotiate with the oc's they wanted more than i could pay, even on hardship cases..so i ignored their phone calls.Now, i am trying to figure out whats next, whychat said not to ask for validation, because that will signal all that i am trying to clean up my cr, or negotiate and all will follow. Keysor said, don't deal with ca's because they can't issue 1099C only oc can, and ca will probably sell rest to someone else...SO WHAT DO YOU DO....When I am sued, I thought I should ask for validation at that time, negotiate for 30-50% of amount, get in writing, that all dereg. on cr would be removed. But what else..How do i get the ca not to sell the balance to someone else..Can one of you enlighten me...I am TOTALLY CONFUSED NOW..Maybe you could tell me what steps should be taken once a suit is filed...what is the right things to negotiate for, and with whom, in order to prevent this from being sold and also to help clean up cr. latter...thanks so much for this site..it is enlightening most of the time..
