I've written in a couple of times about this before and had Ladynred answer. You made a comment about me filing bk in Texas and there being a clause that would protect my husband from them coming back on him. Is what you were referring to 534 section A-3 by any chance? We met w/ and attorney today and I told him what you said. He was familiar w/ the clause, but said he wasn't sure it would work - because it wasn't really recognized by Texas courts!!! He said it would cost me extra to have him fight it - extra from the $1,200 he charges for a bk. I had him look at the legislative action and it looks like it's valid, but why should he have to "fight" it at an extra charge? If it's a law, it's a law, right? I need to research whether someone has used that as an argument and gotten away with it. Any suggestions as to where I can get such information?
