Anybody ever have any dealings with Cadle Co.?

Has anyone here ever dealt with this company? They are, I believe, bottom feeders who buy bad accounts. They are pretty obnoxious too, they called my neighbor on CHRISTMAS EVE about my significant other's charged-off account. Anyway, this account is past the SOL now, or very, very close to it(I think they changed the date of last activity on the CR too). They are reporting this to the CRA as still in collections. Can they do this? Can anyone offer any advise on how to get rid of them? P.S. I am a fan of Keyser Soze's posts! I come here every day just to read his/her very talented prose.
