Hi WhyChat,

Not my "area of expertise" but, if the debt is discharged and they are not allowed to collect, how can a college - probably one that gets some kind of federal funding - refuse to allow entrance to someone? She's not asking for credit and she can't declare bk again on any new fees/fines imposed.

I don't see it, so would you give me your reasoning please?

P.S. I'm quite pleased with myself, I just got $5,000 each(the credit card holder and the authorized user) on a settlement from a big credit card company for one FDCPA violation. They sent copies of the credit transactions to the authorized user when asked he (the a/u) disputed the debt. I probably would have been able to haggle for more but they were anxious for the money.

Thanks,

JR
