I live in Texas.I want to settle some charge-offs that I have that are less than 2 yrs old due to a perid of unemployment. I want to settle with Providian, Cross Country Bank,Household Bank for 30%. Do you think they will settle for deletion and send a 1099-c? Or, do you have a template of an effective letter that I can use? I really want to get out of debt and on to re-storing my credit rating to get a god job.I don't want to settle with them if thy are just going to sell te debtto a CA.
