Disliking CA's is easy, safe, and fun for young and old alike. There is so much about them to loathe from their pious preachiness with regard to justifying their cruelty, "After all, you do owe the money" to their dedication to telling lie after lie after lie in order to get money from you.
The sheer disingenuous irrationality of the arrangement is good grist for many a midnight deep in the woods rage. Bring your Louisville Slugger. After all, be defition the CA has your account because the original cruditor has written off the asset -loan - and declared the loss. In a sense, they've made money from their losses.
The CA buys the note for a penny on the dollar and should you ever pay them - and never do that - the debt is 'forgiven' yet your credit is wrecked moreso than if you just pay nothing and the original cruditor gets none of the proceeds. And after all, they can't as they've taken the loss on their books.
Yes, CA's are loathsome and detestable but look at it this way, even tapeworms now have something to look down upon.

Yours in dislike of CA's,

Keyser Soze
