My questions I posted in the last thread were not answered, so I'm posting them again..What can you do if a suit is filed, and during negotiations, you are dealing with a CA, not an oc. I understand an oc can offer a 1099C, and that a CA can also if they paid full price for the cc from the oc. BUT, what do you negotiate for with a ca, who has bought the acct, not paid full price, to keep him from selling the balance to someone else to collect.....What should you include in negotiating a settlement other than $amount, and deletion of derog. on cr.....please give some input...thanks
