I don't know about "absolutes" in anything, however, as a normal business practice a credit card company will not reopen an account for someone whose prior account was discharged in BK, a landlord is under NO obligation to re-rent to someone whose prior arrears were discharged in BK. I don't see why you feel a school should not avail itself of the same common sense business practices.In fact, MOST business would not "take back" this person AT ALL, even if they paid back the $$ that were discharged in BK. It is not "discriminating" against a BK person to refuse to risk getting "burnt again".
